From the first line of code to today's structure.
The beginning
Development began about four years ago, with a team of up to ten engineers. The goal was a single one: to make mental health care possible for people who can't get to a therapist's office.
Training becomes part of the design
It became clear that technology wasn't enough: there weren't enough professionals prepared to provide care within it. That's how the educational arm was born — today IBRAPSI, with training in integrative and systemic psychotherapy.
Companies come on board
With Brazil's NR-1 regulation now requiring psychosocial risk management, the same structure gained a third use: assessing working conditions and caring for those who need it — MedNex Corporate.
Today
Three fronts, one structure: the PsiAtende clinical network, IBRAPSI's training and MedNex Corporate's corporate health. The operation is lean by design — what was built over years of engineering makes it possible to provide care with a small team.
Three decisions that support everything else.
- Suffering can't be explained by subjectivity alone. It involves brain chemistry, environment, relationships and quality of life — and care needs to look at all of it.
- Confidentiality isn't a promise, it's architecture. Clinical data and company data are separated by construction, not by internal policy.
- Those who provide care must be well trained. That's why training is part of the group, not an outsourced detail.
